Sittingbourne will be out to bounce back from their heaviest league defeat of the season when they travel round the M25 to Godalming Town on Saturday.
The Brickies went down 3-0 at Herne Bay on Tuesday night, their first defeat in a midweek league match this season.
Opponents Godalming have had a difficult season after being switched back into the Ryman League from the Southern League.
They’ve improved recently to lift themselves off the bottom of the South Division and have beaten both Ramsgate and Herne Bay on their own pitch recently.
They also got a draw at Guernsey, which is more than Sittingbourne managed when they followed them there a few days later.
Sittingbourne will still be without Stefan Wright in midfield because of suspension as they chase their first win on a Saturday afternoon since September 17.
The last time Sittingbourne visited Godalming was in 2011 when they drew 0-0 but the year before they won 2-0 with early goals by Tom Bradbrook and Hicham Akhazzan.
Inevitably, Akhazzan, who went off injured at Herne Bay on Tuesday night, is the only member of the Sittingbourne squad from those matches who's still at the club.
