Following on from the excellent second half performance at Whitstable Sittingbourne claimed their first pre-season victory with a 3-1 scoreline over Tilbury..
Sittingbourne opened the scoring on 6 minutes but Tilbury hit back 15 minutes later and the scores were level at half time.
Sittingbourne had the better of the second half, just as they had done at Whitstable and two more goals sealed the win. Tilbury though were down to 10 men in the latter parts of the game as they lost one of their players with a foot injury.
Pre-season games dont usually mean much but this was an encouraging display for a team that are still getting to know each other.
